Jerusalem, meat & vegetable seasoning
Good to know
The Jerusalem spice should not be missing in any, really any, NENI kitchen.
Inside tip: Cumin is one of Haya's all-time favorites. Whole, ground & roasted.
use
Jerusalem gives the typical Israeli flavor kick and is ideal as a base marinade for meat dishes and grilled food. Haya Molcho's tip: mix it with a little oil and brush it onto your steaks!
Or: Make a spice marinade the day before and coat vegetables such as peppers, onions and zucchini, but also meat, with it and leave to rest in the fridge. Finally, fry until crispy and serve.
Ideal: marinated vegetables & meat go well with dips like labneh, hummus & co.
The taste
Jerusalem: Tradition that endures and is valued. Basic kitchen spices such as paprika, garlic and sea salt form the basis. The product gets a fine and sophisticated spiciness from ginger, turmeric and a pinch of chili.
