Even if it says baked apple on the label, season beyond the plate. Try the spice mixture in apple strudel, apple compote, breakfast bowl or muesli and live out your culinary fantasies!

This mixture is ideal for compotes, mousses/roasts, jams and sweet strudels.

Preheat the oven to approx. 200 °C.
Wash the apples and cut out the core.
Peel the top part of the apple and rub it with lemon juice or ascorbic acid (prevents the apple from turning brown).
Mix the almond slivers, S! Baked apple spice and a little butter, then fill the apples with it.
Place the prepared baked apples next to each other in a dish and pour the white wine-water mixture over them.
Drizzle each of the baked apples with a little honey.
Cook the baked apples in the preheated oven for around 50 minutes. Baste them with the liquid frequently.
Before serving, sprinkle the baked apples with coarsely chopped nuts.

The baked apple spice consists of a mixture of Demerara raw cane sugar, cinnamon (cassia cinnamon, canehl cinnamon, cassia cinnamon blossom), orange peel, allspice, ginger, clove and vanilla.
